Taking Back My Life: My Glow Up Starts Now
Hey everyone!
I'm so excited to finally be here, sharing a little bit about what this blog (and YouTube channel) will be all about.
I'm getting close to the big 4-0, and it's got me thinking about all the amazing things I've done so far. But you know what? There are still so many dreams I want to chase and things I want to experience.
For a long time, I struggled with self-confidence and social anxiety. It's been a journey, but I'm finally at a place where I'm learning more about myself and actively making changes to live a more fulfilling life.
After having my child, something shifted. I realized I'd lost touch with who I was outside of being "Mom." Life became a whirlwind of work, home, and caring for my little one, and somewhere along the way, I stopped carving out time just for me…
I really missed the things I used to enjoy. I even tried blogging a few times in the past, but I could never quite find my groove or a topic that truly felt like "me." Eventually, I put those interests aside and poured all my energy into everyone else.
Well, things are changing. This blog is for me. It's a space for me to be authentic, to share my story, and to reconnect with the things I love. And honestly, I hope that by sharing my journey, I can also inspire other amazing women to feel more confident and to go after their own goals and happiness.
Creating content, whether it's blogging or making videos, truly makes me feel like my best self. Having you all here helps me stay accountable to the goals I'm setting for myself.
So, what can you expect to see here? You'll be joining me as I work on my ultimate "glow up," inside and out! I have some BIG dreams, and I'm more determined than ever to make them a reality. Think of this as a living diary where we can look back and see the progress I'm making.
