My name is Dakota, and I’m so glad you’re here!

My creative journey began back in 2015 with a shaky camera and a dream, to capture my first trip to Japan on video. Those early YouTube videos are still up (cringe-worthy and all), but I keep them as a reminder of how far I’ve come. Since then, my passion for storytelling through video, design, and content creation has only grown.

I’ve worn many hats over the years: fashion design student, event planner, financial services professional, and now creator, educator, and mentor. With a background in fashion design, I developed a love for branding, marketing, and all things visual. I’ve built websites, styled events, and taught myself everything from photography and videography to web development and data analysis.

At the core of everything I do is a belief in service, creativity, and continuous learning. After over 15 years in the financial services industry, where excellent service was the foundation of my career, it is also a value that is the heart of my brand.

This blog and my YouTube channel are my creative outlets, places where I blend my love for tech, beauty, fashion, travel, and personal development. But more than that, they’re spaces built to inspire and empower women who are ready to reinvent themselves.
